Aggressive Music and Aggressive Driving

Yesterday I tweeted about my thoughts on aggressive music playing in the car and how it may affect your driving.  Today I’m back with some real-world examples and an actual chart (professional, I know)  displaying this phenomenon in action.

Psychoacoustics (or, Respect the iWow)

I have a low tolerance for bullshit, especially when it comes to gimmicks that claim to improve the quality of things. Take, for instance, music files that you transcode from CD.  Obviously, to get the best quality you would select the lossless option in your encoder, but not all of us have the hard drive space required to maintain a lossless music library so we opt for the lossy route in the form of either MP3 or AAC files.†

Dialtone: The Movie, The Trailer

I recently received the wonderful gift of a Snowball Microphone from my lovely girlfriend and decided to test it to the max by creating a fake movie trailer.  I put this together in Garageband in about the span of 2 hours and it’s just for fun.  Figured I’d share it with all of you.
