I've been very lucky. I've worked with companies large and small; you might drink their soft drinks every day or use them to connect to the internet. A medical device they've created might be helping a family member of yours right now or maybe they've written one of your favorite books. Despite their differences and industries, they've all trusted me to help deliver results for them on the web and in video. If you like what you see, don't hesitate to contact me. We'll make something great.

This is quite possibly the coolest video project I've had the pleasure to work on. The concept was simple enough: capture the essence of the Philly Geek Awards and distill it down into a bite-sized recap. I got to play around with some new gear on this shoot including a Nikon D800 mounted on the Redrock Micro Field Cinema Deluxe Rig and am quite pleased with how everything performed, especially in the mostly low-light conditions. Big thanks also go out to Klip Collective for the loading screen animation as well as all of the motion graphics in each category. A final sidenote: this video definitely has one of the best endings of anything I've edited, period.

Project Specifics

This was a project I've wanted to do for a long time but never had a chance to stay over in Manhattan at the right time/place. This video is comprised of approximately 2600 images taken over a 4.5 hour period at various landmarks in New York City including: Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, and Avenue of the Americas. It started as testing time-lapse settings for a similar Philadelphia-based project I'm working on and evolved into a full-fledged short of its own. Time-lapses were compiled in Motion and edited/graded in Final Cut Pro X.

I was really surprised by not only the size but the variety of badass cars at the East Passyunk Car Show this passed July. I sat on this footage for quite a while but when I had a little free time recently I decided to edit together a nice recap and score it to the undeniably cool sounds of The Glitch Mob's Animus Vox.

Another project I developed on behalf of Smarthinking, Inc, The Parker Palm Springs needed everything and the kitchen sink: integration with their 3rd party reservation system, videos embedded on major pages, large scale imagery throughout the site, live chat and feedback integration, and much more. It also had to carry the air of luxury that the hotel itself is known for. The resulting site is a great experience that makes you feel like you're already a guest without even taking your fingers off the keyboard.

Jacqueline Sauer needed a functional blog that was as unique as her photography: one that matched her style, and one that had plenty of room for her to insert large, beautiful imagery. I started from scratch on a blank Wordpress installation and designed a clean, open design with a lot of white space. I coded the design into a template with support for widgets so she can easily swap content in the footer area of her site.

Crackerjack designer and former coworker Pete Fleming came to me with a project he designed for a local business. His aim was to establish them as the go-to source for all things epoxy and in that venture he succeeded. He asked me to convert his designs pixel-for-pixel into fast, usable web pages. Using the latest in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery I was able to see his vision through to an excellent web experience. Be sure not to miss his handiwork with the "Recommend-a-lator 3000"!
