The Aerial Reel I had before this one was last updated in 2018 and it was time for an update. It's not that I do a LOT of aerial-specific work, but more that it's a feature of many of the things I assist with. I love the fresh perspective and framing opportunities a drone provides. Add to that the fact that much of the drone work I do is often rather clinical (static architecture shots, building inspection, etc) and you can see how it might make for a rather boring reel. That said, I think I was able to compile some of my best shots and enhance them with a little audio design. This project went from what I thought would be a few quick drag and drop operations to taking up a majority of my evening. Such is the life of a creative!
