👆 That, dear reader, was what I wanted to avoid on this one. I knew we'd be doing exclusively of non-verbal communication in this one because of our narrator (yours truly). Our female protagonist was going to be the strong, silent type throughout her very eventful day. The goal was to integrate technology overlays in a way that felt natural for the scene. This mean planning our framing around the additional of text bubble pop ups, app overlays and more. Here's how it turned out:
Everything you saw was filmed in a single day. True, it was a very long day, but a single day nonetheless. We used the house of the creator of PitterPatter, an adjacent running trailer for the outdoor scenes, and the nearby town center for the brother scenes.
