I first met Vessna when she was hired to perform at the afterparty of a conference. Historically, I haven't cared too much about bands or musicians at those types of events—most of the time the music is just there to fill silence between schmoozing—but as soon as she took the stage everyone in the room paid attention. Her vocal tracks paired with the soundscapes and beats immediately envelope you, it feels like you're now in one of the coolest movie scenes of all time.
After that performance I learned that she's also an equally proficient watercolor artist as well as teacher. I thought it only fitting to try to capture at least some of what makes her the coolest person I've ever met and hopefully you feel similarly.
