This documentary was produced for the 2016 Fusion Doc Challenge for the "You're not going to believe this, but..." prompt and boy oh boy, what a harrowing tale Tekla tells of first being separated from her family, escaping, and eventually finding her way to America. A lot of it was difficult to hear and very emotional, but my deepest thanks to Tekla for telling us her story and allowing us to share it with others.
