Covering tech conferences is low-key exciting for me because I genuinely love this stuff. When they're talking about the future of storage in the form of NVME's or other solid state solutions, my ears perk up because—*checks notes*—the footage for this conference alone totaled up to 1.9TB. Yes, that's terabytes. Figuring our unique ways to storage huge amounts of data quickly and securely is basically my part time job after the video stuff. I've been lucky enough to cover ONE CON since 2016 and only missed two little years in the middle because of something called the pandemic. Regardless, I love this stuff!
